Obverse description Central field occupied by a three-line Arabic-script legend reading 'Muhammad / Khudayar / Khan' in bold, fluid Nastaliq calligraphy. The inscription fills the flan in a dense, overlapping manner characteristic of Central Asian hammered silver coinage. A foliate or floral spray border encircles the entire field, composed of stylized leafy branches that frame the royal titulature. The irregular flan edge and the overall layout reflect the hand-struck production methods typical of Khoqand Khanate issues of the mid-nineteenth century.
