| Obverse description | The entire field is occupied by a multi-line Arabic-script legend in bold, deeply struck Nastaliq calligraphy, invoking the name of the deceased Emir Haidar with an epithet of praise. The Hijri regnal year 1304 appears within the inscription. The strike is characteristic of hand-hammered Bukharan coinage, with slightly irregular flan edges and uneven surface relief. No decorative border or linear frame is present, the lettering filling the field to the rim. |
