Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Holy Roman Emperor Charles VI facing right, with long flowing wig rendered in fine baroque detail. The emperor is shown in armor with elaborate decorative elements at the shoulder. The Latin legend encircles the effigy, reading CAR·VI·D·G··ROM·IMPE·, abbreviated titles identifying him as Charles VI, by the Grace of God, Roman Emperor. The coin field is finely struck with a milled border of radiating denticles framing the design.
