Obverse description Hammered silver tanka with the central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic inscription in bold Naskh script, reading the royal titulature of Sikandar Shah. The legends are contained within a circular border of repeated annulets or rope-work. The irregular flan is typical of hand-struck Bengal Sultanate coinage, with the inscription filling the field to the edges.
