Reverse description The reverse is similarly covered entirely with multiple horizontal lines of bold Arabic Naskh script within the circular flan, carrying the Islamic kalima and the caliph's name. The inscription references the Commander of the Faithful and the reigning Abbasid caliph, conforming to the standard formula used on Delhi Sultanate silver tankas of this period. No decorative borders or central motifs are present, consistent with the austere epigraphic tradition of Sultanate coinage.
