Reverse description Multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script filling the reverse field, reading 'Muhammad Shah al-Sultan ibn al-Sultan', identifying the ruler as Muhammad Shah, sultan son of a sultan. The Hijri regnal year appears in the lower margin and the mint name Hadrat Fathabad is recorded in the right margin. The inscription is arranged in horizontal registers across the flan, struck on an irregular hammered blank consistent with Bahmani Sultanate minting practice.
