Obverse description Obverse field entirely occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in dense Naskh script, struck on a small, irregularly shaped flan typical of mid-14th century Tughluq billon coinage. The inscription reads the name and title of Fath Khan bin Firoz Shah, invoking divine favour upon his sovereignty. Letters are boldly rendered but show characteristic die-struck distortion at the margins due to the hammered technique. No figural or geometric devices are present; the entire design is calligraphic in character. The field is slightly convex with a plain, undefined rim.
