| Obverse description | Fully epigraphic design typical of Delhi Sultanate billon coinage, the field occupied entirely by multiple lines of Arabic script in an angular naskh hand. The legend names the issuing prince Fath Khan, son of Firuz Shah, with the pious epithet invoking the glory of his reign. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with the hammered legends showing bold but unevenly struck relief across the field, consistent with fourteenth-century Tughluq-era mint practice. |
