| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in the field, arranged in four or five lines within a dotted border. The legend records the name and titles of Sultan Alauddin Husain Shah, ruler of Bengal, in a bold and characteristic Bengal Sultanate calligraphic style. The regnal year 911 AH (corresponding to 1505-1506 CE) appears as part of the inscription. The overall design is typical of Bengal Sultanate coinage, with the text filling the entire field without pictorial imagery. |
