Obverse description Struck in the hammered tradition, the obverse bears a bold Arabic legend arranged in two registers divided by a horizontal line across the field. The upper register carries the sultan's name and titles in fluid Naskh script, while the lower register continues the royal inscription. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with characteristic flat striking areas and granular surface texture typical of mid-sixteenth century Gujarat copper coinage.
