| Reverse description | Central quatrefoil device contained within a square frame, the whole surrounded by a border of dots. Four lozenge-shaped hexagonal cartouches, arranged symmetrically around the square, each bear a syllable of the auspicious Tibetan inscription 'Sri Mangalam' (Good luck). The composition follows the conventional layout of the Sri Mangalam tangka series, with the geometric interplay of the quatrefoil and square frame forming the dominant design element. |
