The four corners of the field, outside the cartouche, bear Chinese characters: 鄭 (upper left), 通 (upper right), 寶 (lower left), and 明 (lower right). Thai lettering กรุง สยาม appears within or adjacent to the central motif. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border, presenting a harmonious bilingual layout reflecting the Sino-Siamese commercial context of the issue.
