| Reverse description | Hammered copper flan with prominent Arabic Nastaliq inscription occupying the central field, reading 'Shah Alam' in bold, flowing script characters arranged in two diagonal registers. The legend is executed in the Mughal calligraphic tradition, with strokes radiating across the flan. The surface displays areas of olive-brown patina interspersed with green corrosion products characteristic of aged copper coinage. The plain edge and irregular flan outline are consistent with hand-struck production at the Jaipur mint during the late 18th century. |
