Reverse description The reverse displays bold Arabic-script legends struck in two registers across the field, recording the regal year (RY) of Mughal emperor Shah Alam II. A fish symbol and a star, traditional Jaipur mint badges, appear within the legend, serving as mint identification devices. The inscriptions are crudely but forcefully struck, with the characteristic double-striking and irregular flan edges typical of hammered copper coinage of the Jaipur princely state. The regal years recorded range from RY 30 to RY 35, corresponding to the Hijri years 1202–1209.
