Obverse description Central field dominated by a bold Nagari legend arranged within an oval or cartouche-like frame, rendered in the crude, deeply-struck style characteristic of hammered Bharatpur coinage. The inscription reads 'Shri Brajraj Jaswant Singh', invoking the royal epithet of the ruling Maharaja and the sacred Braj region associated with Bharatpur's Jat dynasty. A border of large raised pellets encircles the legend along the upper periphery, a decorative device typical of this series. The flan is irregular and thick, with natural flow lines and areas of green cuprite patina consistent with prolonged circulation. The overall execution is bold but somewhat rustic, reflecting the artisanal hand-hammering technique employed at the Bharatpur Mint.

Reverse description Central field bears a Nagari legend identifying the mint name 'Zarb Bharatpur' accompanied by the regnal year, struck in a similarly bold and archaic hammered style. The inscription occupies the majority of the flan, with individual aksharas rendered in a robust, slightly irregular manner reflecting hand-die engraving. The flan edges are uneven and show the characteristic irregular outline of a hand-cut copper planchet. Patches of green oxidation and brown patina are distributed across the field, consistent with the age and copper composition of the coin. No additional decorative devices are evident on this face beyond the principal legend.
