| Obverse description | Central field features a group portrait of seven busts arranged in a pyramidal composition, depicting the Bir Sreshtho — the seven highest-ranked recipients of Bangladesh's supreme gallantry award for their sacrifice in the 1971 Liberation War. The heroes are rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished background, enclosed within a raised inner circle. The Bengali legend 'বাংলাদেশ' (Bangladesh) arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by floral ornaments, while '১৬ ই ডিসেম্বর' (16th December) runs along the left, and 'বীরশ্রেষ্ঠ ২০তম বিজয় দিবস' (Most Valiant Heroes — 20th Victory Day) appears along the lower and right portions of the border legend. |
