Obverse description Within a raised inner circle on a square tin flan, the crowned coat of arms of Woerden is depicted centrally, showing the characteristic shield surmounted by a crown with heraldic charges above a hatched base. The denomination value letters 'I' and 'S' (for 1 Stuiver) flank the shield to the left and right respectively, serving as the sole inscription on this emergency issue. The design is rendered in low relief consistent with hastily produced siege coinage, with the entire composition contained within a circular border raised against the plain square field.
