| Reverse description | A long cross pattée dominates the reverse, its arms extending to the inner reeded circle and dividing the field into four quarters. A voided lozenge or diamond shape is placed at the center intersection of the cross. The letters D, A, V, I appear in the four quarters flanking the cross arms, with the letter D repeated below to complete the issuer's name DAVID. The circumferential legend in Gothic uncial script runs between the reeded inner circle and the beaded outer border, identifying this as a new episcopal coin of Utrecht. |
