Obverse description Stylized bull (Nandi) depicted in abstract, geometric form at center, rendered in the distinctive Chahamana decorative idiom with sinuous curvilinear lines framing the central device. A large pellet or globule appears prominently above the bull's body, with additional pellets scattered across the field representing ornamentation. The design is enclosed within an irregular flan typical of hammered coinage of the period. The overall composition reflects the highly stylized artistic conventions of northern Indian dynastic coinage of the early 12th century.
