Reverse description Central motif consists of a multi-petalled floral rosette enclosed within a plain inner circle, the petals arranged symmetrically in a stylised wheel-like pattern. The surrounding field bears a circular legend in Tibetan script reading the standard Ganden Phodrang mint inscription, with the numeral 1 denoting the denomination. The entire design is contained within a beaded outer border, consistent with the milled coinage of the period.
