Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of King Frederik V facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair tied with a ribbon and an elaborate laurel wreath. The effigy is bold and classically styled, occupying the central field with a truncated neck. The encircling Latin legend reads FRIDERICVS • V • D • G • DAN • NOR • V • G • REX • B., separated from the bust by a flat inner border. A small mintmaster's mark appears at the base of the truncation.
