| Obverse lettering | CHRISTIANUS.V.D.G.REX.DAN.NOR.VAN.GO (Translation: Christian V, by the Grace of God, King of Denmark, of Norway of the Vandals and the Goths) |
| Reverse description | Central field features the interlaced royal cipher of Christian V — three interlocked C5 monograms arranged in a trefoil pattern — surmounted by a large royal crown rendered in fine detail. The cipher device occupies the majority of the field and is executed in bold, deeply engraved relief consistent with the baroque style of the Glückstadt Mint. A beaded inner border surrounds the design, with the continuation of the royal titulature legend running along the full circumference: DVX.SLES.HOL.STOR.DITM.COM.OLD&DELM, identifying Christian V as Duke of Schleswig, Holstein, Stormarn and Dithmarschen, Count of Oldenburg and Delmenhorst. |
