Obverse descriptionStanding armored figure of King Christian IV holding his scepter in the right hand over the shoulder and a globus cruciger in the outstretched left hand. The figure is partially within a rope circle and the date is divides at sides of King knees. Legend is outside the circle with mintmark at end (always between scepter point and King`s crown).

Reverse descriptionCentral flat-topped shield with Arms of Denmark is encircled by a ring of 13 oval shields of Danish Territories and dependencies. The central shield is also above a cross with Danish Crown in its upper arm, at same level of the other shields. King’s motto is around central shield but not cut by cross arms (that`s are visible out of the provincial shields). All the shield are inside a pearled circle with legend outside cut in four parts by cross arms.
