| Obverse description | Fifth definitive effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem, as designed by Jody Clark. The sovereign legend encircles the portrait, with the designer's initials 'J.C' positioned at the truncation of the neck. The mature, refined portrait replaced the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy from 2015 onward and is rendered in fine relief against a smooth field. |
