| Obverse description | Central device depicts a naturalistic bouquet of plants symbolising Lower Canada's agricultural heritage, composed of a sheaf of wheat, a thistle, and a shamrock bound together at the base, rendered in fine relief against a flat field. The design is contained within a toothed border. The circumferential legend reads AGRICULTURE & COMMERCE BAS-CANADA, separated by pellets, arranged along the inner rim in upright Latin lettering. |

| Reverse description | The reverse features the denomination UN SOU inscribed in two lines at centre, enclosed within a wreath of laurel or olive branches tied at the base, with the branches arching upward on both sides toward the top of the field. The legend TOKEN appears in a curved arc above the wreath, and MONTREAL curves below along the inner rim, all within a toothed border. The overall design is bold and well-centred, characteristic of the Belleville token issues of the 1830s. |
