Obverse description Central field bears the royal crowned monogram 'จปร' (an abbreviation of Chulalongkorn Paramindr, the regnal name of King Rama V), rendered in Thai script and surmounted by a pointed crown emitting ten radiating rays. The monogram is flanked by a decorative circular legend in Thai script identifying the kingdom and reign. The design is bold and deeply struck, reflecting the official royal cipher style of the Chakri dynasty.

Reverse description The central field contains a three-line Thai inscription stating the denomination and its fractional equivalence, enclosed within an ornate wreath of Java Cassia (Cassia javanica) branches bearing leaves and blossoms. The wreath is tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The Chula Sakarat date appears at the bottom of the inscription within the wreath. The overall composition is well-centered and characteristic of Siamese coinage of the late nineteenth century.
