Reverse description Central field bears the arms of the city of Riga — two crossed keys beneath a small cross pattée, enclosed within an ornate shield or cartouche flanked by decorative flourishes. A beaded inner circle frames the central device. The peripheral legend, separated by a beaded border, carries the denomination, issuer, and last two digits of the mint year. The composition and style are consistent with civic coinage of the Swedish Baltic provinces in the mid-17th century.
