| Obverse description | Central field displays the crowned arms of Gorizia: a horizontally striped escutcheon surmounted by an imperial crown with cross finial, with a rampant lion passant across the lower half of the shield. The entire device is framed by elaborate Baroque cartouche scrollwork extending to all sides, with foliate flourishes at the base. The coin's rim is defined by a continuous border of fine beading. No peripheral legend is present; the heraldic composition fills the entire flan in the late Baroque engraving style characteristic of Habsburg provincial coinage. |

The cartouche is flanked by symmetrical acanthus scroll ornaments and rests upon a double fleur-de-lis base motif. The entire design is enclosed within a fine beaded border.
