Obverse description Displayed double-headed eagle with wings spread, each head surmounted by a crown, occupying the central field. The eagle is rendered in a bold, somewhat crude hammered style typical of small Italian feudal coinages of the late 17th and early 18th centuries. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery identifying the issuing prince. The overall design reflects the imperial heraldic tradition associated with the Holy Roman Empire.

Reverse description Full-length nimbate figure of Blessed Aloysius Gonzaga (Luigi Gonzaga) depicted standing or in a posture of veneration, turned to the left, rendered in a simple linear style within the central field. The halo about the saint's head is clearly delineated, affirming his beatified status. A circular Latin legend encircling the field invokes him as patron and protector of Castiglione delle Stiviere. The reverse underscores the deep dynastic and spiritual connection of the Gonzaga lords to their beatified kinsman.
