| Obverse description | Central field displays the crowned arms of Perpignan: a quartered shield bearing the four vertical bars (pals) of Aragon, surmounted by an open royal crown. A fleur-de-lis appears at the base of the shield. The date 1645 is distributed across the field, flanking the shield on either side. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circular legend running along the outer periphery. |
