A flowering plant appears at her feet in the lower left field. The curved legend REPUBLIKA CESKOSLOVENSKA arcs along the left and right periphery, with the date 1920 inscribed in the exergue. The composition reflects the Art Nouveau-influenced allegorical style characteristic of engraver Otakar Španiel. |
