| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Uzbekistan occupies the central field, depicting a rising sun over mountains with a river valley, flanked by cotton bolls on the left and wheat ears on the right, tied with ribbons in the national colours. A Humo bird is displayed at the apex of the shield. Twelve five-pointed stars arranged in an arc above the arms represent the twelve provinces of Uzbekistan.
