| Obverse description | Central device consisting of the interlaced and mirrored royal cypher of King Frederik IV, formed by two intertwined cursive 'F' letters, surmounted by a large ornate royal crown with arched bands. The monogram is elaborately rendered with foliate flourishes extending to either side of the field, filling the coin's surface in a bold baroque style with no surrounding legend. |

| Reverse description | The denomination and date are inscribed in four lines across the field in bold upright lettering: '·I·' flanked by rosette stops on the first line, followed by 'SKILLING', then 'DANSKE', then the divided date '·17 19·' with the crossed hammers mintmark interposed between the year numerals, and the mintmaster initials 'HCM' on the bottom line. The layout is strictly typographic with no surrounding legend, the crossed hammers serving as the Kongsberg Mint mark. |
