| Obverse lettering | CHRISTIAN · V · D · G · DAN (Translation: Christian V (king of) Denmark by the Grace of God) |
| Reverse description | The denomination expressed as 'I SKILL DANS' is inscribed in three lines across the central field, with a mintmark positioned below. The central device is enclosed within a circular border. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the border, completing the royal titulature begun on the obverse, identifying Christian V as King of Norway, of the Wends and the Goths. The date appears at the conclusion of the reverse legend. The mintmark varies by year, with a clasp mintmark recorded for issues of 1676, 1677, and 1680, and the initials GS appearing on the 1681 issue. |
