| Reverse description | Central design features a floriated Burgundian cross with decorative terminals, the four arms of which enclose at their junction a central motif of four interlocked loops forming a cross shape, from which depend the pendant jewels of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The initials A and E, for Albert and Elisabeth (Isabella), appear in the angles of the cross flanking the central device. A mint mark is positioned at the top of the field above the cross. The circumferential Latin legend ARCH AVST DVCES BVRG ET DOM TOR proclaims the rulers' titles as Archdukes of Austria, Dukes of Burgundy, and Lords of Tournai. |
