Reverse description Central design features a three-line Arabic inscription naming the issuing sultan, enclosed within a square frame. Beyond each side of the square, marginal legends record the mint and date: Baghdad (ضرب بغداد) appears above the square, with the AH date 772 distributed across the remaining three sides in the customary format. The titulature reads al-Sultan al-Azam Shaykh Uways Bahadur Khan, followed by the pious formula khallad mulkahu (may Allah perpetuate his kingdom). The layout conforms closely to late Ilkhanid and early Jalayirid epigraphic conventions, with bold, clearly spaced Naskh script. The hammered flan results in slight irregularity at the coin's periphery.
