Additional information

Zimbabwe has not issued a "shilling" denomination at any point in its post-independence monetary history — the country used dollars and cents after 1980, abandoned its own currency entirely in 2009, and introduced bond coins and RTGS dollars thereafter. A 2017 Zimbabwean shilling does not correspond to any documented official issue. Catalog this piece with caution; it may be a fantasy item, a pattern, or a misattributed novelty.
