Obverse description A standing female figure, draped in classical robes, occupies the right portion of the field, leaning forward to place or rest a crown upon a rectangular altar or plinth. The plinth bears the three-line inscription HEALTH / TO THE / KING in incuse or raised lettering within a recessed panel. The figure is rendered in a neoclassical style consistent with Soho Mint production. The surrounding legend PRO BONO PUBLICO arcs across the upper field from left to right.
