| Obverse description | Cyan guilloche border frames the vertical coupon. At centre, a golden vignette of grain sheaves and sunburst radiates behind the large denomination characters 壹市斤 in teal, with the character 粗 overprinted above in black. A letterpress vignette of an arched bridge occupies the lower portion, with issuer inscription 南阳市 below and date 一九八〇年 in a cartouche at foot. |
