| Obverse description | Central field depicts the seal of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, featuring a stylized allegorical figure representing industry and agriculture, rendered within a circular inner ring bearing the legend BANGKO SENTRAL NG PILIPINAS and the founding date 1949 flanked by small stars. The outer legend ANG BAGONG LIPUNAN (The New Society) curves along the upper periphery of the square flan. The coin's date of issue appears prominently in large numerals at the bottom of the field, below the central seal. The design is executed in low relief on the square aluminium flan with rounded corners. |
