Obverse description Oval lacquered brass token with a central round hole. The badge of Aisei-en Sanatorium appears in relief at the top, flanked by stylized arrow-head devices. Vertical Japanese legends reading the issuer name and denomination flank the hole on both sides, with the denomination character 一 (one) above the hole and 銭 (sen) below, and stylized wave ornaments in the lower exergue.
