Obverse description Central field displays the imperial double-headed eagle displayed within a beaded inner circle, the eagle rendered in bold relief with spread wings and folded talons in the Gothic style characteristic of late 14th-century Hanseatic coinage. Above the eagle's heads, a decorative crown or three-pellet ornament is visible at the top of the inner circle. Two pellets flank the eagle at either side within the inner circle. The surrounding legend MONETA LUBIC is inscribed in uncial Gothic lettering within a toothed or lobate outer border.
