| Obverse description | Bare laureate bust of Emperor Francis Joseph I facing right, rendered in high relief with finely engraved hair and laurel wreath tied at the nape with a ribbon bow. The emperor's youthful effigy shows a short neck truncation with a military collar visible at the base. The circumferential Latin legend runs along the inner border, separated from the field by a continuous beaded border. The mint mark 'V' for Venice appears at the bottom of the field below the bust truncation. |
