Reverse description The Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica is depicted at center, rendered in architectural detail with pilasters, a decorative pediment, and a prominent cartouche or hanging veil above the threshold bearing the image of the Veil of Veronica — the relic showing the face of Christ. The date 16-25 is divided on either side of the doorway in the field, with ROMA inscribed at the base. A continuous Latin legend encircles the composition within a beaded border, referencing the Jubilee indulgence of the Holy Year.
