Obverse description Central crowned shield bearing the Este dynastic coat of arms, surmounted by a ducal crown and flanked by foliate ornamental supporters. The shield displays the quartered arms of the Este family with characteristic heraldic detail. A beaded inner circle frames the central device, while the Latin legend runs around the outer field. The date appears within the legend at the top of the coin.
