Reverse description A floriated cross with fleur-de-lis terminals occupies the central field, set within an inner beaded circle. A small decorative rosette or quatrefoil ornament appears at the centre of the cross intersection. Four crescent-like ornaments fill the quarters between the arms of the cross. The surrounding Latin legend, referencing the Christus Vincit formula, is inscribed between the inner and outer beaded borders: XPS VINCIT XPS REGNAT XPS IMPERA, invoking the traditional medieval acclamation of Christ's kingship.
