Reverse description Saint Petronius, patron of Bologna, is depicted kneeling in three-quarter view facing right, vested in episcopal robes and mitre, his hands clasped in prayer before an altar or architectural element. The denomination numeral '80' appears in the lower exergue, expressed in bajocchi as the fractional equivalent. The circular legend naming the saint and the city of Bologna frames the figure along the coin's periphery.
