| Reverse description | The reverse presents a right-facing draped military bust of Simón Bolívar, depicted in high relief wearing an epauletted general's uniform with elaborate collar and decorative detail on the shoulder. His hair is rendered in naturalistically styled locks swept back from the forehead. The name 'BOLIVAR' is inscribed in the lower exergual legend beneath the truncation. The surrounding legend 'LIBRE POR LA CONSTITUCION' curves around the upper and lateral fields in bold raised Latin lettering, and the entire design is contained within a prominent reeded outer border. |
