Reverse description Denomination inscription arranged in three lines across the centre of the plain field, reading 'I / SCHWA / REN', flanked above by two rosette ornaments to the left and right of the numeral 'I'. Below the denomination, a decorative cartouche or scroll ornament is present, with the mintmaster's initials 'DB' inscribed in the exergue beneath. The lettering is bold and well-spaced, filling the flan in a typographic style typical of small Bremen copper coinage of the period.
