| Obverse description | Central field displays the Hohenzollern quartered eagle and sceptre device, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. A Gothic legend in Latin surrounds the central device, with the text running between the inner beaded circle and the outer border. The lettering is struck in a characteristic late medieval Gothic script, with a cross pattée serving as a punctuation mark at the top of the legend. The overall style is consistent with mid-fifteenth century hammered coinage of the Franconian Hohenzollern margraviates. |

| Reverse description | Central field features the Hohenzollern eagle displayed, crowned, with wings spread, set within a beaded inner circle. A Latin legend in Gothic script encircles the device between the inner beaded border and the outer rim, with a cross pattée mark at the top acting as a word separator. The design is executed in the flat, linear style typical of hammered bracteate-influenced coinage of the Brandenburg margraviates during the reign of Margrave John IV Alchimysta (1440–1457). The coin exhibits characteristic irregular planchet shape and uneven strike pressure consistent with hand-hammered production. |
